Welcome & Congratulations with the baby on the way!
Your newborn session will be a special milestone in your baby’s life.
A newborn session will take about 1-3 hours.
The best time for a newborn session is around 8-14 days after birth.
In this timeframe the baby will be in a more sleepy and curly stage, and thus makes it a easier to achieve those dreamy shots of your newbie.
After this period it will be a bit more challenging to put the baby to sleep because the baby will be more alert and will make it difficult to get those curled up shots.
My photography style is simple; I use soft, light & earthy colors. And I try to capture the rawness&love of your family and baby. I have a collection of high quality furs, soft baby wraps, one of a kind headbands and beautiful bonnets that I use for a newborn session.
These are all included to use for the photo session.
All furs, wraps and clothes are washed and cleaned with baby hypo- allergenic detergent before and after a session.
A newborn baby is very sensitive and I would like everything neat and clean for each baby :)
I only take about 5 newborns a month, so to ensure a spot for a newborn session, contact me as soon as possible. (preferably in your 2nd trimester)

What can you expect during a family session?
Lots of laughter, lots of group hugs and kisses, and just playing around with eachother
Each family is unique and loving in their own way, everything is not perfect and that is perfectly fine! I will let you, be you; be silly, tickle each other, give a crazy amount of huggies, spin around with your family. the cuddles should be endless!
Where will the session take place?
My favorite and ideal type of family session would be in a super green nature spot and the sun shining through the trees. But family sessions can also be held at the beach, the dunes and cacti etc.
What should we wear for family photos?
Coordinating outfits shouldn't be stressful. Think about flowy dresses for mom, shorts and or rompers for boys, dresses for girls and just a simple tee and shorts for dads. The weather is always hot (+windy) so it is important to be comfy during your family session.
I also offer a client closet, for mommies, babies and kids.
For boys: sizes 6 months - 3T
For girls: sizes 6 months - 12 YRS
(Client closet is only available for a Luxe Family Collection)
Upon booking a family session, I can send more of coordinating outfits in detail.
How long does a session last?
A Family Session can take anywhere from 30 min up to 1 hour,
depending on the collection chosen.
