Your newborn session will be a special milestone.
One day you will look back at these photos and immediately feel the love from one of the most beautiful chapters in your life.
A newborn session will take about 1-3 hours.
The best time for a newborn session is around
8-14 days after birth. In this timeframe the baby
will be in a more sleepy and curly stage, and
thus makes it a easier to achieve those dreamy
shots of your newbie. After this period it will be
a bit more challenging to get curled up and
sleepy shots because the baby will be more alert,
but I will always try to soothe baby as calmly as
possible to achieve those beautiful shots.
The max age for a newborn session is 21 days after birth.
My photography style is simple;
I use soft, light & earthy colors. And I try to capture the
rawness&love of your family and baby.
I have everything you need for a newborn session;
from a collection of high quality furs,
soft baby wraps, one of a kind headbands
and beautiful bonnets. These are all included to use
for your photo session. All furs, wraps and clothes
are washed and cleaned with baby hypo- allergenic
detergent before and after a session.
A newborn baby is very sensitive and I would
like everything neat and clean for each baby :)
I could only take about 5 newborns a month, so to ensure a spot for a newborn session,
contact me as soon as possible. (preferably in your 2nd trimester)

Thank you for your interest in me photographing your family! Newborn sessions will document this new time in your life in an artistic and authentic way. One of the most instrumental aspects of our business is to provide an exceptional client experience before, during and after the session. This is done through careful planning and preparation. Everything from session preparations to clothing and prop recommendations will be gone over in detail.

Your Newborn Session
Let's get you scheduled! After you select your session package, we will set a date
and time for the shoot (this will be scheduled around your due date). A newborn
session is best between 8 - 14 days of baby's life. Shortly after, an online booking
link will be sent your way and from this link, you will view and sign the
contract. IT IS IMPORTANT TO BOOK WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR
2ND TRIMESTER!
A Non-refundable Booking Fee of Afl 150 is required to secure and reserve your date and
time. You will also be sent more information via email on how to prepare for
your session along with other tips and tricks. In the case of inclement weather,
or any other complications, we will reschedule.
After your baby is born, contact me within 2 days to confirm your scheduled date.
Prior to your session you will receive a PDF Newborn Tips Guide that details
items of importance to you and your family for us to concentrate on. Examples
of this would be "we want the main focus to be on the baby but we will pop in
for a few"). Parents & Siblings are allowed to take photos with the baby. This
applies to any of the Newborn Packages.
Expect your session to be reflective to what you see on my website, social media
and this guide. I always focus on safety for you and your newborn baby.
Your session digital images will be ready within 2-3 weeks of the session! You
will receive an email that holds the gallery link with semi colored edited images
along with detailed instructions on how to favorite photos. There is also the
possibility to purchase additional digital images. Each additional image is Afl
50,00.
After selecting your favorites, your images will be fully edited (final color editing, adjusting
background, removing red blemishes, pimples and smoothening skin) and you
will receive a new downloadable link within 1-2 weeks, with a PIN-Number containing
high-resolution images for printing and social media.
Newborn Experience
We take great care in creating an exceptional client experience before, during and after the session takes place. Prior to your due date, session info and tips are sent out to best help you prepare. After your baby arrives, contact us within 2 days.
At this time your exact session date and time will be scheduled. As always,
let us know if you have any questions throughout the process!
Studio Session
A Newborn Session is scheduled in the mornings from Monday to Friday in a warm and comfortable environment. Newborn Sessions are in the studio located in the heart of my home in Oranjestad.
Careful Posing
I will never force a baby into a pose.
Some babies are resistant to certain poses
and that's ok! We will move on to others.
My style is all wrapped and at the end of
the session, if time permits, we will do
some semi-naked shots to get those little
wiggly toes.
Session LENGTH
Each baby is different and realistically, it's
the little one who determines the length
of the session. On average, expect to
spent 1-3 hours at the session.
Siblings & Parents
Can Snuggle
While focus will always be on the baby,
siblings and parents are always welcome
to jump in for a few shots!
